Zhejiang University offers up to 10 levels of Chinese learning. These 10 levels are broken up into the following:

4 levels of fundamental Chinese lessons, 4 levels of intermediate Chinese lessons and 2 levels of advanced Chinese lessons. Each of these levels take up to 9 weeks and students can finish about 2 levels in a semester or in half a year. Students are taught by professional and experienced staff and are taught in small classes that consist about 20 students to ensure efficient teaching and learning. All students have to take an online placement test which determines which level the student should get into first.

Chinese reading, listening,speaking and writing

Zhejiang University provides 4-week long intensive Chinese program every summer vacation, which usually lasts from early July to early August with 4 class hours every day from Monday to Friday.

Students will gain aclear focus on Chinese language, carefully designed immersion activities and excursions, teaching delivered by qualified faculty at school, discussions with the participation of Chinese students and faculty, students will improve their Chinese in a short period.
