For the scholarships provided by these universities, you can apply after you get your target university's admission letter. You can apply through the University of your Choice.

How to apply for CGS – Chinese Government Scholarship

This scholarship comprises of the best interest by the Chinese government for international students.

1.       : Contact the dispatching authorities and consult for detailed information of scholarship and application instructions. Sent the application materials to application receiving agencies

2.       : If the dispatching authorities recommend you as scholarship candidate. You should contact your ideal universities for Pre-admission Letter and enclose it in your application package.

3.       : Register an account at the CSC Online Application System and log in (if you have an account, just log in)

4.       : Fill in the application form and print a hard copy of a completed application form. For the agency number, you can refer to Chinese Universities Agency Number List

5.       : Send the application materials to the specific application receiving agency

6.       : Around the end of July, keep contact with the application receiving agencies for the final result

There may be a little difference on the application procedures in terms of different programs under Chinese Government Scholarship.). The above only serves as mere guidelines.

How to apply for CLGS

In recent times, China has become popular for international students to study , for this very reason the Chinese government aims to help these keen mind pursue their studies.

1.       : Determine in which province and university you want to study

2.       : Fill the Application Form for your target local provincial scholarship programs. You can download the application form in your target university’s website.

3.       : Prepare required application documents. Generally, the application documents include: (1) completed application form; (2) notarized photocopy of highest diploma; (3) academic transcripts; (4) a study or research plan in Chinese or in English; (5) recommendation letters; (6) Foreigner Physical Examination Form. (Note: different scholarship programs may have different required application documents. Other documents should be prepared if required by the university)

4.       : Submit these application documents to the International Students Office of your target university

5.       : The university will determine the scholarship holders and hand the holders list to their belonging Education Department which will determine the final scholarship holders list. Always keep in contact with the university.
