Chinese government scholarship-bilateral program for international students provides full or partial scholarships for international students. This initiative was established by the ministry of education of China in accordance with educational exchange agreements. It supports undergraduate programs, master’s programs, doctoral programs, general scholar programs and senior scholar programs.
The following are the requirements that make one eligible for these scholarships:
Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than that of The Peoples Repubic of China.
Applicants must be a high school graduate under the age of 25 when applying for the undergraduate programs.
Applicants must be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for the master’s programs
Applicants must be a master’s degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for the doctoral programs.
Applicant must be under the age of 45 and have a high school diploma (or higher) when applying for the general scholar programs.
Applicants must be a master’s degree holder or an associate professor (or above) under the age of 50 when applying for the senior scholar programs.
Applicants should consult the dispatching authorities for abroad studying in their home country to obtain the details and requirements of Bilateral Program. Students who wish to apply for this scholarship should submit their applications between January and early April.
