List of HEC Recognized Universities in China

When studying abroad, it is important to understand the necessity of the respective university which you’d be interested to study being accredited by the national institutions. Consisting of more than 201 million people, Pakistan gains the title of the sixth most populous country. Being a close neighbor of China, China–Pakistan relations began in 1950 both countries have placed considerable importance on the maintenance of an extremely close and supportive relationship and the two countries have regularly exchanged high-level visits resulting in a variety of agreements.

This has resulted in the increasing quality of education, with Chinese universities being approved in Pakistan. HEC or the Higher Education Commission in Pakistan is a national council that independently recognizes the quality of universities worldwide, with China being one of the countries to have reached approval for.

HEC also has established agreements regarding scholarships with China, resulting in Pakistani students gaining a successful study in China. Currently, there are over 19,000 Pakistani nationals studying in HEC approved universities in China.
