Introduction of Insurance for International Students in South China Normal University
According to the requirements of South China Normal University, during the period of study in our school, international students must buy “Comprehensive Insurance & Protection Scheme for Foreigners Staying in China”. If students refused to buy this insurance, the school admission will be cancelled or will be regarded as automatically give up one’s status as a student.

2、The purchase of insurance
Since April 1, 2014, international students can pay insurance premium online (it can be both used in initial payment and renewal payment). The students who need to buy the insurance, please login the following address: www.lxbx.net.
3、Online payment instructions
You can use a foreign credit card: VISA, MasterCard, AE, JCB international credit card (but 3% fee will be charged). Mainland China bank card after open the bank on the net, need not to pay other fee.
If you are the first time to buy the insurance:
Please pay ten days before our reporting time. Instructions are as Follows:
Visit the web site: www.lxbx.net (International Insurance Network), Click on this icon, then you can enter with your passport number (passport number in capital letters, elimination of non- characters and no spaces).
① Select and verify your information.
② If need to correct some information, please fill in the correct information in the modified column.
③ Choose the insured time: half a year (400yuan) or a year (800yuan).
④ Go into the payment process according to the online tips, you can use a foreign credit card: VISA, MasterCard, AE, JCB international credit card (but 3% fee will be charged). But Mainland China bank card after open the bank on the net, need not to pay other fee.
⑤After pay, you will be prompted for your service card number and other insurance information, please keep it.
⑥ The insurance company will assume the insurance protection in two weeks, then you can re-enter the system, and you will see your insurance policy number.
If you want to prolong your insurance:
For those students, we recommend to use domestic bank card, after open the bank on the net, need not to pay other fee. Domestic banks list:

The method of operation:
Log in to the Study Abroad Insurance Network (WWW.LXBX.NET ) or Lianhua International Website (WWW.LHGJ.NET). You can use your passport number that you use to apply for your previously insurance (passport number in capital letters) or the service card number to enter.
choose and check your renewal records. If the original passport has expired, please fill in the new valid passport number.
Choose the insurance time: six months or a year.
④ Follow the prompts to enter the online payment (Domestic bank card without other costs, China overseas credit card required to pay 3% of the fee)
After pay, you will be prompted for your service card number and other insurance information, please keep it.
The insurance company will assume the insurance protection in two weeks, then you can re-enter the system, and you will see your insurance policy number.
4、Settlement of claims
①The personal information you should provide: the copy of your passport、the copy of the first page of your commercial bank card and the claim form.
②Data provided by hospitals: the original receipt、case of illness、the summary when you leave the hospital and Daily expenses list.
