Established in 1958, Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Tianjin (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited/recognized by the Tianjin Municipal Education Commission, Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TUTCM) is a large (enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. 

Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TUTCM) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as undergraduate certificates/diplomas, bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This HE institution does not have a selective admission policy. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.
