Schwarzman Scholars Program at Tsinghua University has been designed to develope the next generation of global leaders. Schwarzman Scholars Scholarship is the first of it kind that supports the geopolitical landscape of the 21st century. This opportunity will allow students to improve and nurture their leadership and communication skills through a one year comprehensive masters program at one of China's most prestigious schools of higher education.
Master’s Degree Programme in one of the following disciplines: Public Policy, Economic and Business, International Studies.
The class that will begin in 2017 will include 125 scholars of which 45% would be American, 20% would be Chinese and 35% from the rest of the world.
This incredible scholarship includes tuition fees, accomodation, travelling expenses to and from Beijing atthe beginning and end of the academic year as well as course material that is required, an in-country study tour, health insurance, a lenovo laptop and smartphone and a simple personal living expense.
Students are required to have an Undergraduate degree or first degree from an accredited college or university or its equivalent. Applicants who are enrolled in undergraduate degree programs must be on track to complete all degree requirements by 1 August 2017. There are no requirements for a specific field of undergraduate study; all fields are welcome, but it will be important for applicants, regardless of undergraduate major, to articulate how participating in Schwarzman Scholars will help develop their leadership potential within their field. Students should also between the ages of 18 and 29 as of August 2017.
Students neeed to have the adiquate english language proficiency due to the fact that the program is conducted in english. If the applicant's native language is not english he/she will need to provide one of the following language proficiency test scores.
· Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL PBT)
· Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT)
· International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
