Yang Jian Won the Third Prize of the Second National College Students “Innovation and Originality of Insurance” Challenge
The second national college students “Innovation and Originality of Insurance”challenge declared to closing on March 19th. Yang Jian, a postgraduate from School of Insurance won the third prize with his work Insurance of Introducing and Growing of New Agricultural Products------Thoughts on Quinoa.
Since its start in last October, the challenge has attracted a wide attention, with a total of 359 entries from 64 universities all over the country. After the preliminary examination and review, 15 teams entered the final. Yang Jian, as the only individual contestant, got to the final successfully and won the third prize.
Professor Huang Zhen Attended Boao Forum for Asia and Delivered a Speech Named Internet+ Promotes the Belt and Road
On March 25th, the 2017 annual conference of Boao Forum for Asia was held in Hainan. Professor Huang Zhen from the School of Law, CUFE was present at the forum as invited. In the course of the conference, he attended the Yinsheng breakfast meeting on "Construction and Innovation of Small and Micro Financial Ecosystem " on March 25th and "Chinese merchant leaders and Chinese think-tank roundtable discussion" on March 26th. On the discussion, Professor Huang Zhen delivered a speech Internet + Promotes the Belt and Road. He pointed out that “Internet +” is the second half of the Internet economy；the Internet is changing the traditional economy and the mode of life；“Internet+” can strongly promote the construction of the Belt and Road；the cross-border e-commerce has great potential in the development of the Belt and Road and the cross-border e-commerce along The Belt and Road will develop healthily with the innovation of system.
Round Table Discussion on Global Trade Governance and China’s Role
Round Table Discussion on Global Trade Governance and China’s Role was held in CUFE on March 25th. Well-known experts and scholars from domestic universities and scientific research institutions had a discussion on the new problems, new features and new changes of global trade governance as well as its derivative problems of what China can do to contribute its wisdom to and play its role in global trade governance reform.
The round table discussion reached consensus on the dilemma of multilateral trade governance and China’s strategy, the development and trend of global economic and trade rules and the new changes of global trade governance system.Moreover, participants also agreed that China should promote reform in the course of opening-up to positively took part in the rule-making of global economic and trade. What’s more, lots of targeted policy suggestions were offered by participants on what China can do to cope with problems of anti-globalization and protectionism in international trade, to take effects on multilateral trade system and to play its role on global trade governance and so on.
