Chinese Government Scholarship and Scholarship of Confucius Institute Both Available
HNU is the only University in Heilongjiang authorized by Ministry of Education of Chinese as foreign language ability test and the national Chinese proficiency test (HSK) test point; it is a school authorized the opportunity to award international students the Chinese government scholarship and the Confucius institute of foreign students receiving college scholarships. At present, the school has set up a file in the UK, South Korea and other countries to establish the Confucius institute.
2011 Fall semester scholarships (both kinds) are available and almost overdue now, so students who have already got the admission letter, please log in the school website to see if you are qualified to apply for it and if you have got it.
CB receives delegation from Harbin Normal University High School
The Global Services Office (GSO) of CityU organized a campus tour for the Harbin Normal University High School delegation at Academic 3 on 14th Aug.
Ms Judy Ma, External Liaison Officer of GSO, welcomed the group of 20 students and introduced the University and undergraduate admission information to the students.
On behalf of the College of Business, Dr Andrew Chan, Director of 1st Year Teaching and Learning, introduced the BBA programmes with an emphasis on faculty qualifications and exchange opportunities. Currently, there are over 95% of our core faculty, at Assistant Professor level or above, have doctoral degrees. In addition, the College has built up a global network having partnership with over 180 renowned universities in 36 countries spreading across the six continents, offering ample exchange and internship opportunities to its students. Each year, more than 50% of the BBA students have the opportunity to go on exchange or internship overseas.

On the launch 151 well-designed collections of more than 50 graduates were showed for three hundred attended guests and audiences. The theme of the release conference was "A+", which aimed at developing new cutting-edge apparel design into a practical and the newest fashionable trend in this fast-developing Internet era.
The attended graduates were willing to take a risk on innovations. The graduation collections included casual series, creative and other series. At the aspects of modeling, structure, color and technology the design concept was ingenious and fresh. It was not hard to see that each one of collections was high cohesion of four-year professional accumulation, and it was regarded as a memory of four-year youth, which was full of hard work and big expectations of professors.
In the evening of 18th, January, the five-day long 2015 Harbin Fashion Week had a successful ending in Hongbo West Red Square. An on-line “Goddess’ clothes” fashion show ended up with announcement of lastest designs and participations of Shang Wenjie, Nana, Sun Qian. T2O becomes the pioneer of whole China and attracts all media to come and report.
