Guilin University of Aerospace Technology (GUAT) was founded by the former Aerospace Ministry of China in 1979. Located in Guilin, a world tourist destination city, GUAT is a public undergraduate university, which delivers bachelor and high diploma programs in arts and science.

GUAT has over 10,000 students and is made up of 20 Faculties: Management, Aeronautics Tourism, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering and Automation, Automobile and Transportation Engineering, Power and Architecture Environment, Computer and Information Engineering, Foreign Language and Trade, Media and Art Design, International Education Exchange Center, and others.

GUAT has established a friendly cooperation with universities in around twenty countries such as USA, UK, Australia, Germany, Italy, Finland, Singapore, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and others. Approved by the Education Ministry of China, GUAT has the qualification to recruit foreign students and offer Guangxi Government Scholarship for ASEAN students. GUAT tailors various programs for foreign students, such as Aerospace Experience Camp, Chinese Culture & Language Experience Tour, besides bachelor degrees and high diploma programs. We have hundreds of foreign students from ASEAN and other countries each year.
