constitutional and administrative law is studied as an integrated whole. The study of constitutional law cannot be done without the dynamics and reality of administrative law. The application of administrative law cannot be done without reflecting on constitutional issues such as the division of powers, legality and legitimacy. In the research programmes in which the Department participates, both lines of research are interconnected. We pay structural attention to the social context in which the law functions. Not merely looking at how the rule of law is applied in practice, we also study the issues which exist in society and whether and how the law can affect these.
The field includes for example institutional constitutional law (regarding various state institutions), political constitutional law, the law of decentralised governments, environmental law, construction law, competition law, subsidy law, economic administrative law, migration law, social security law and civil service law. In all these domains the governement makes laws and its various organs has to execute them. There are countless of norms, including fundamental rights and general principles of good administration. These legal norms follow not only from national law but also international law

Processing time varies for different applications. For example to process a degree program application requires more time than a Chinese language application. Confirmation for Chinese language application by the admission office usually takes 2 to 4 weeks. However, time for degree programs application differs. For example fall semester application processing is after March, and it takes a period of 1 to 2 months. This also depends on your qualification and the number of applicants.
