The Master of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics is administered by the Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics Program. The program is designed to enhance the student’s knowledge base and broaden their perspectives across the profession. In addition to meeting the requirements of the university and of the College of Natural Science, students must meet all requirements specified below.
This post-baccalaureate program assumes you have a minimum of a
four-year bachelor’s degree and have worked in a laboratory. Laboratory
scientists that desire to learn how to implement immunodiagnostics and
clinical flow cytometry to help diagnose medical conditions using
testing protocols and assays that will support their diagnosis.
Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics Program prepares individuals for a
career in the healthcare profession with a strong foundation in the
basic sciences of chemistry, biology, mathematics, and physics. Clinical
Laboratory Sciences (CLS) is a challenging career as well as a
satisfying and demanding profession for persons with interest in the
application of the basic sciences to the clinical diagnosis of disease.
Clinical laboratory scientists contribute to the development and
application of new technologies for the improved diagnosis of pathologic
conditions. Specific courses focus on all of the major clinical
disciplines including hematology, immunology/immunohematology,
hemostasis, clinical microbiology, clinical chemistry, and body fluids.
Each course is designed to prepare students for their roles as
laboratorians. In addition, students are introduced to the emerging
discipline of molecular pathology and its very important role in the
diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of disease.
Qualifications:
1.Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, healthy, above the age of 20 and under the age of 30.
2.Applicants must have attained a diploma and transcript from the highest level of education completed.
3.Applicants musthas solid financial support to afford the study and living expenses in China.
4.Applicants must have HSK-4 certificate. Send the photocopy of the certificate.

For application procedures follow the instructions below strictly:
1. Four Passport photos.
2. Scanned First Page of Passport (with identity info).
3. Completely filled Health Checkup form (Foreigner Physical Examination Form).
4. Diploma and Transcript from the highest level of education completed.
5. Applicants must have HSK-4 certificate. Send the photocopy of the certificate.
6. Fee structure signed by the student.
7. Completely filled Application Form. (Fill in only the red part, do not change the format, just type in and send back by the completely filled Microsoft Word document, and also send ascan copy of one filled and signed with pen.)
8. Students who have alreadystudies in other universities in China, must present a China visa and residency permit, as well as sealed transfer approval letter former universities.
9. To apply for Hubei Government Scholarship, please download the scholarship application form from HUM website.

Answer: When an application is pending a decision it means that your school has received it and no admissions decision has been made yet. The admissions office may have reviewed your application package or may not have.
The main cause of a pending application is usually incomplete application documents. As a result you will be requested by the school’s admission office to re-check and modify all submitted application documents or perhaps even add extra documents and then re-submit them.
To avoid further delays, carefully read the university’s comments, modify your application form on ACASC, and re-upload the required application documents. You can contact ACASC on admission@acasc.cn for any help with regards to your pending application
Processing time varies for different applications. For example to process a degree program application requires more time than a Chinese language application. Confirmation for Chinese language application by the admission office usually takes 2 to 4 weeks. However, time for degree programs application differs. For example fall semester application processing is after March, and it takes a period of 1 to 2 months. This also depends on your qualification and the number of applicants.
