As we all know that china is investing greatly on the education and there is no fun in mentioning the rise of overseas students interest towards the

Universities in china. To make it more appealing china has kept the expenses like, living cost, tuition fee and other expenditures made by students affordable as compared to all other universities in china.

Here are some of the expenses that add up on the students studying in china:

  1. Tuition fee:

The tuition fee in china is different depending upon the following factors:

  • University
  • Major
  • Program
  • Scholarship

  • University:

In china there are two types of universities I.e. “public universities” and “private universities”

The cost of studying in these universities is different and is greatly influenced by the “world ranking” of the university.

The tuition fee is averagely calculated between 15,000 RMB to 60,000 RMB.

  • Major and program:

The fee structure is greatly influenced by the majors and programs you choose I.e. undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs.

It is seen that the fee for the mbbs curriculum is more as compared to the other majors taught in the universities in china.

Bachelors degree has affordable fee structure than the masters or doctoral programs.

  • Scholarships:

There are many different top universities offering scholarships to the overseas students studying business in china. These scholarships may be awarded once in a year or in the form of monthly allowance.

There are different types of scholarships mostly awarded to the students doing masters or doctoral degree.

Another great factor that sums up on the expenses made by the students living in china is the “living cost.”

Living cost in china is way much lower than all other countries of the world, the students are estimated to spend a month in between 1500RMB to 2000RMB even in the cities like shanghai or Beijing.

However this is an “roughly” estimated value just for the “comparison” purposes which may vary from person to person depending upon the life style the are living.

3 Accommodation:

There is no such problem of accommodation in china especially for the students studying in china. All the international students are provided with dormitory facilities which includes almost all the modern day facilities like internet connection, separate toilet and furniture.

The fee for the accommodation may range from 4000 RMB to 10,000 RMB per year depending upon the university and the facilities they provide.

Some of the students also live outside the campus premises the expenditures however are more as compared to the students living inside the campus premises.

4 Transportation:

The transportation expenses are very affordable in china. There are facilities like city bicycle, buses, taxi’s available everywhere.

Students mostly are not allowed to have vehicle (only if they have a chinese licence) but the students are allowed to have a e-bike that costs you way much less than taxi’s and has other facilities like in-dependency.
